Open in HaFa Get HaFa on Google PlayHow far? — how Nigeria says hello
A messenger where sending money to a phone number is as ordinary as sending a message. Both are end‑to‑end encrypted. Both keep going over Bluetooth when the data is gone.
Nigeria first. Not on Google Play yet — every screen here is our own review build, and the money in them is demo money, labelled in the app.

The daily habit
No switching to a bank app, no copying an account number, no screenshot of a transfer that may or may not be real. You pay the person you are already talking to, and the payment stays in the conversation where you can both see it.

Proof, not screenshots
Every payment is signed by the payer's own phone, with a key the hardware will not hand over. The receipt names the device, the method and the key that signed it, and carries a code anyone can check without installing anything.
Fake transfer alerts are how traders get robbed. A HaFa payment either verifies or it does not.

When the network goes
Turn on Nearby mode and your phone finds other HaFa phones over Bluetooth, ten to thirty metres away. Messages pass straight between them, sealed, and hop up to seven phones to reach someone further off.

Encryption
Encrypted on your phone, decrypted on theirs. The server stores ciphertext it cannot open, and forgets it once delivered.
The database on your phone is encrypted too, so a lost handset is not an open chat history.
That two numbers exchanged something, and when. That is the cost of delivering to a phone that is switched off, and we would rather name it than imply otherwise.
Where the product actually is
HaFa is in private testing, and builds are handed out directly rather than through a store. This is exactly what is built and what is not.
The messenger where money is ordinary, proof cannot be faked, and the conversation survives the network.
